Rey is revealed in The Force Awakens as a Scavenger who was left on the planet Jakku as just a young child. When she discovers that she’s Force-sensitive, she finds herself in the Resistance’s battle with the First Order. After having been trained to be a Jedi under both Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, she successfully defeats Palpatine as well as the First Order in The Rise of Skywalker and then sets out to rebuild the Jedi Order by adopting the name Rey Skywalker.
